These terms govern your use of the Khareed Bekri app and website, operated by [Company legal name] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Khareed Bekri.
1. What Khareed Bekri is
Khareed Bekri is a classifieds platform. Users post and browse listings for vehicles, vehicle parts, jobs, groceries, kabadi (scrap) and other items, and can contact our team on WhatsApp about a listing.
We are an intermediary. We are not the buyer, seller, employer or job seeker in any deal, and we don’t own, inspect or guarantee the items, services or jobs listed. The app does not process payments, deliveries or contracts between users.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. Keep your phone and OTPs secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information in your profile and listings, and keep it up to date.
3. Listings and your content
You are responsible for everything you post. Each listing must:
- Describe a real item, service or job that you are entitled to offer, with honest details and photos.
- Show a genuine price range.
- Follow all applicable laws, including laws on vehicle ownership and transfer, food safety, waste handling and employment.
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it within the app and in our promotion of the app, for as long as it is on the platform. We may review, edit for formatting, or remove listings that break these terms.
4. What’s not allowed
- Stolen goods, weapons, drugs, counterfeit items, or anything illegal to sell in India.
- False, misleading or duplicate listings, or fake job offers.
- Job posts that discriminate unlawfully, ask for fees from applicants, or break labour laws.
- Harassment, hate, abuse, or sharing other people’s personal data without permission.
- Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Spam, scraping, hacking or anything that interferes with the app.
5. Dealing with other users
Any deal is between you and the other person. Before you pay or hand anything over, check the item, documents and the other person’s identity, and agree price, condition and delivery yourselves. Never pay in advance to someone you haven’t verified.
When you contact us on WhatsApp about a listing, we try to help, but we can’t guarantee a listing is available, accurate, or that a deal will happen.
6. Reporting content
If you see a listing that is illegal, fraudulent or infringes your rights, report it to our Grievance Officer at [grievance@khareedbekri.com]. We will acknowledge your report within 24 hours and act on it as required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
7. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Suspension and closing your account
We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, if it breaks these terms or the law, or puts other users at risk.
You can stop using Khareed Bekri at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [support@khareedbekri.com].
9. Disclaimers and liability
Khareed Bekri is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we don’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from listings, deals or communication between users, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
You agree to compensate us for losses caused by your breach of these terms or your listings.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [City] have jurisdiction over any dispute.
